Jan Inge Abrahamsen
Jan Inge Abrahamsen has been involved in the national benchmarking of water supply and waste water management for the Municipality of Sandnes since 2003 and in the European benchmarking since 2007. He developed the mission, vision, strategies and goals as well as the communications model. In addition, he is a member of the working committee responsible for developing the long range municipal plan for the period 2007 to 2040 and participated in writing the strategy plan for developing and maintaining water supply in the Sandnes Municipality. He is a project manager for the implementation of new public management principles in the Department of Technical Infrastructure and Services, including management training, EFQM Excellence Model internal assessments, Business IQ for Human Capital, Balanced Scorecard and user satisfaction studies. He acted as project manager of a feasibility study evaluating a merger of Stavanger Municipality and Sandnes Municipality�s refuse removal departments. He has an educational background in Management, Business administration and Economics.
